What the licence unlocks
The licence lives on the engine and unlocks the real output (Art-Net, sACN), counted in universes. Everything else is free: patch, programming, cue lists, 3D visualizer, unlimited screens.
- A plan with N universes outputs U1 to UN, always the same numbers (Solo: U1 and U2).
- A universe copied to several ports only counts once.
- A fixture patched mid-show beyond UN is blocked; U1 to UN keep running.
The free trial
Solo for 14 days, no credit card, once per account and once per machine, from the first activation: create an account in the Halyx Account screen (or on this site), then sign in in the app.
Without internet
The engine keeps a signed authorisation, valid for 7 days without network, renewed every 24 h whenever internet is available (a phone hotspot is enough), never beyond the paid subscription period plus 7 days. During the trial, during a consumer's withdrawal period and while a payment is pending: 3 days.
A show is never cut: an increase in rights applies immediately, a decrease only when the engine restarts. 72 h after the authorisation ends, the output switches to demo; an alert announces it during those 72 h.
Machines
A licence covers one machine (more if you buy several). Signing out or releasing a machine removes its rights at once; its seat comes back at the end of its authorisation (+ 72 h). To get it back sooner: 3 early releases per 30 days. Machines are managed in the app (Account) or in your online account.
