Install in three steps

  1. Run Halyx-Setup.exe: Halyx installs for your user, without administrator rights, then launches.
  2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC": More info, then Run anyway.
  3. At the firewall prompt, tick private and public networks. Scan the QR code with a tablet.

What’s new in 1.3.0

  • New fixtures arrive by themselves: signed in to your account, Halyx receives the profiles we add to the library, without waiting for an update. They sit with the generics, by brand and model: search for the brand or the model in Patch › Add. To start with, more than 100 devices from 32 brands, taken from the manufacturers' documentation: moving heads and stage fixtures (Robe, Martin, Clay Paky, Ayrton, GLP, Chauvet, Elation, Cameo, ADJ, etc.), film lighting (ARRI, Aputure, amaran, Nanlite, Nanlux, Astera, Litepanels, Kino Flo, etc.), LED profiles (ETC, Robert Juliat, DTS, etc.), and effects: smoke, haze, cold spark, flames, CO2, lasers. Once received, they stay available offline, and a show keeps the version it already patched.
  • Every channel can be controlled: a fixture that only tilts (tilt-only bar) is set in the Device tab, and a strobe that goes from fast to slow is driven the right way.
