Frequently asked questions
What is a universe?
A DMX universe is 512 channels: depending on modes, from a few moving heads to dozens of PARs. A universe counts if it has at least one patched fixture and a real output to a node. The visualizer never counts.
Is the price per machine?
Yes: a licence covers one machine (the PC running the engine). Tablets and phones are free and unlimited. You choose the number of machines at checkout, from 1 to 50.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time, in "Manage my subscription and invoices": an upgrade is prorated and applies immediately, a downgrade at the end of the period.
How do I pay?
By card, on Stripe's secure checkout page, monthly or yearly. Invoices are available in your account. No promo codes.
I am a business: how do I enter my VAT number?
On the Stripe checkout page. In the EU, reverse charge applies with a valid number; outside the EU, sales are for businesses only and the number is required.
Can I withdraw?
A consumer can withdraw within 14 days of the first payment, from their account: they then only pay for the days already used.
